Attacker thrusts from Schlussel and defender parries thrust to the right, attacker uses Mutieren to transform the parried thrust around head into a Zornhau from his right
Defender goes from parry over head using Verschieben (sliding) handwork to parry the Zornhau with a hanging point guard (Hengetorte)
Defender strikes a Zornhau from the hanging point position
Attacker parries Zornhau with a Hanging Point parry (Hengetorte)
Attacker follows up with a Zwerchau from right from hanging point position
Defender parries Zwerchau with a high Pflug and fires back a Zwerchau of his own from his right
Attacker parries Zwerchau with a high Pflug
From this bind Attacker now Wrenches the bind upward and to the right and follows up with a lower Krumphau from left from underneath at Defenders elbow (Flugelhau) which Defender parries with Plug
Defender follows up with a Short Edge Winding Strike at Attackers ear which Attacker Wrenches/Swipes away to his right placing his sword on top
Attacker now follows up with his own Winding Strike at Defenders ear which Defender parries with a Schrankhut or Lower Hanging parry
Defender follows Schrankhut parry with a Umbschnappen Snapping strike from above with either long or short edge at Attackers head
Attacker parries with a Horizontal Hanging Point parry across his body and follows up with a single or double handed attack to the Defenders legs and steps back into Pflug position
Defender counters the leg attack by stepping back with the forward leg and into the Schlussel position Attack and Defender have now completed one cycle of the device and they switch roles and repeat the device from the opposite side now.
The device is done like this back and forth as smoothly as possible switch roles at each rotation, Attacker starting in Schlussel and Defender starting in Pflug. In this way the drill can go back and forth over and over helping to build attributes within the Device and building the attacks and responses into the fighters instinct and allowing the skills to be accessed in freeplay with Indes.
